Job Description

RBC Capital Markets seeks Senior Software Engineer in Minneapolis, MN partners across IT and with assigned business line(s) to assess, research, and analyze business, technical and system needs in order to resolve business systems issues by recommending technology solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Core Java (1.6, 1.7, 1.8) and related frameworks in design, development, testing, execution and production support. 5 years of experience as a technical lead with experience in project conception, estimation, planning, allocation, programming & development, execution and production support. 5 years of experience in RESTful APIs development, GraphQL Aware, designing, coding, executing, tuning plugins to Elasticsearch using Kafka (0.9.0 onwards), KafkaStreams, Zookeeper, Java and Microservices, and using Jira, Rally, MS Team Foundation Server, GitHub. 6 years of experience in working Agile methodology through Scrum and Kanban modes.

The base salary for this job is $131,800 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
