Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Sitecore-based web applications, websites, and digital experiences
- Customize Sitecore to meet project requirements, including creating custom modules, components, templates, and pipelines
- Integrate Sitecore with third-party systems, databases, and external APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Optimize the performance of Sitecore solutions, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and improving page load times
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and participate in QA processes to ensure the quality and reliability of solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and code documentation
- Stay up-to-date with Sitecore updates, best practices, and emerging trends in web development and CMS technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within scope
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs in Sitecore applications, providing timely support and maintenance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines are followed
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Sitecore Software Engineer, with at least 7 years of hands on Sitecore development experience
- Sitecore certification(s)
- Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC
- Strong knowledge of Sitecore architecture, including Sitecore 9.x or later
- Experience with Sitecore Helix principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Sitecore Headless architecture/development
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
- Strong knowledge of Next.js and or React using Headless development
- Experience with source control tools like Git
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation Range
$111,300.00 - $246,800.00
