About the Role:

At Eightfold, we are looking for senior-level and "product-driven" Software Engineesr with extensive experience working with modern software architectures. We are looking for Engineers whom are hands-on in designing, building, and maintaining globally scalable distributed systems in the cloud. You will own features and product software features that are shipped directly to Customers/Users.

What you will do (or learn to do) :

• Be part of a full-stack product development team.
• Own, design, code, and manage delivery of multiple software product features.
• Work closely with other engineers to help each other.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) on defining the roadmap and execution.
• Work with other engineering teams & cross-functional teams to address all the technical dependencies.
• Actively participate in interviewing & hiring the top talents.
• Innovate and suggest industry best practices, and participate in internal/external technical presentations.

What you bring:

• Strong CS fundamentals with an excellent track record of architecting, designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable products.
• Experience in distributed systems at cloud scale, microservices, large-scale web applications, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work with partners across teams and functions.
• Good product sense. Mindful of good design and user experience.
• Experience and passion for mentoring team members.
• 3-7+ years of relevant experience building enterprise-class software applications or consumer-facing software applications and features.
• SaaS product development and shipping experience.

We majorly use and are not limited to the below technologies: React/Typescript frontends backed by Python Flask, RDS, Solr, GaphQL APIs, AWS lambda services. Redshift, Spark, Redis, AWS

Pay Transparency

Please note this role is categorized as hybrid in Santa Clara, CA The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonus and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location by zone.

Zone A is in SF Bay Area, CA . Base annual salary range: USD $142,000 - $177,000 + discretionary bonus up to 15% + preIPO equity
