Sr. Software Engineer – AI Products (Path to Product Management) 100% Remote – U.S. Based NO H1 or C2C Are you a strong software engineer with a passion for building AI-driven products and a long-term goal of stepping into product management? This role is designed for a Sr. Engineer who wants to own both the code and the product vision — giving you the opportunity to develop AI applications today while preparing to lead roadmaps, customer engagement, and product strategy in the future. What You’ll Do • Build AI-powered applications using Python and related frameworks, integrating machine learning models into scalable products. • Develop full-stack solutions leveraging Python, React, React Native, C, and Postgres SQL to deliver high-impact features. • Deliver 6–12 month roadmaps to leadership, helping secure resources and budget for upcoming releases. • Partner with founders and senior leadership to translate vision into code, demos, and prototypes. • Collaborate directly with customers during on-site visits, gathering feedback and presenting early product concepts. • Ship key deliverables — from backer-facing releases to internal product enhancements — with a focus on speed, quality, and usability. • Grow into a Product Manager role by learning how to balance technical feasibility with business priorities, driving product strategy over time. What You Bring • Strong hands-on engineering skills with Python (required). • Experience with React, React Native, C, and Postgres SQL. • Proven ability to ship real-world deliverables on time. • Interest in AI, data science, and product strategy. • Comfort working closely with executives, founders, and customers. • A growth mindset — excited to move beyond code into product leadership. Nice to Have • Experience deploying AI or ML models into production. • Background in rapid prototyping or start-up environments. • Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
