Senior Software Engineer, Automation (Vilnius or Kaunas)

The Automation team at Omnisend enables merchants to create seamless, scalable, and automated marketing workflows across multiple channels (email, SMS, push notifications). Our solutions streamline and automate sequences of actions triggered by specific events in the merchant's store, enabling timely, personalized communication with customers without manual intervention.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on backend development. Proactive, product-minded individuals who are enthusiastic about crafting impactful software products will thrive at Omnisend. What you’ll do @Omnisend:

• Contribute significantly to product development decisions
• Design, develop, and test features
• Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
• Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Share best practices with team members

We expect that you’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience (5+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high load systems
• Customer centricity
• Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language with the willingness to learn Golang
• Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and toolsProficiency in any database
• Experience with real time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/SubWorking experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services)
• Experience with event based architecture
