About the Online Banking Engineering team:

Narmi’s Online Banking Engineering team is the engine behind Narmi’s Consumer and Business online banking products—we spend 100% of our efforts building and maintaining products which delight our clients and allows their users to complete a wide range of everyday banking needs. You'll build new tools and features that provide a seamless and intuitive experience for our clients and end-users allowing them to understand their financial health and ensure the control of their accounts without having to visit a branch. You'll work with the latest technologies that allow us to continually iterate, update, and build upon our award winning user experience.

What you'll do:

• Plan, develop, implement, and iterate on new features and new products with an initial focus on building out our ACH (money movement) capabilities in digital business banking
• Take part in code reviews and testing
• Provide mentorship and engineering perspective across the organization
• Debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack

What you'll bring:

• >5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Great work ethic, agility, and experience as a top performer
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
• Experience owning features and delivering outcomes
• Willingness to occasionally work in New York City
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Django and/or DRF (preferred)
• Experience at a financial technology firm (preferred)
• Experience with ACH (preferred)

The expected annual base salary for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. Base salary is only part of your total compensation. In addition to base salary, you will receive an equity option grant, and are eligible for performance-based cash and equity bonuses. Compensation included in an offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for candidates located outside of New York City may differ. You will also receive a full benefits package.
