Senior Software Engineer - Backend / Infrastructure

The Role: 

We are looking for a Software Engineer focused on Infrastructure that will help us with our mission to empower healthcare professionals to find their dream job. This position is remote. 

You will:

• Architect or re-architect backend systems with a focus on reliability and security
• Join our infrastructure engineering team contributing to maintenance, upgrades, scalability, security, and site reliability
• Perform migrations and upgrades of major system components
• Triage and solve bug reports related to infrastructure and security
• Monitor site performance and reliability, mitigating outages and writing postmortems

The Skill Set: 

• Experience with NodeJS, relational databases, and AWS
• Experience using Redis and Memcache (nice to have)
• Experience with APM and other telemetry tools (nice to have)
• Experience on a distributed team (nice to have)

The Salary, Benefits and Perks: 

The range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 yearly salary, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Unfortunately we are not able to offer any visa support at this time.
