About the role 

We are looking for experienced C++ Developers to join the team who are part of a long-term program with our customer, a leader in the automotive technology sector. The tools we work on are used by professional engineers to simulate, measure and calibrate Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for the cars of today and tomorrow.

Joining us as a Senior Developer in this team puts you at the heart of this project, working closely with our customers every day. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to customer requirements using the latest available standards and compilers. Being dedicated to quality results requires an understanding and capability of creating solutions that are inherently testable and provable, which is why we need experienced developers, able to ensure these critical requirements are handled well.

This role will be remote and will expose you to a variety of automotive topics, technologies, and networking protocols. Our team practices well-established delivery methodologies and processes, and our long collaboration with our customers has led to a lot of great innovations and successes.

Skills & Experience needed 

We're looking for people who bring with them: 

• Strong expertise in C++ including C++11/14 
• Familiarity with Visual Studio 
• Familiarity with Unit Testing 
• The mindset that likes working with complex systems and protocols such as CAN, LIN, FLEXRAY, Automotive Ethernet. 

If you have experience with git, bash, VMs and basic Linux usage, we’d consider it an asset. 

We will keep things straightforward - we will talk about some genuine problems we have to solve, ask for your technical opinion and insight on some real-life situations, and we will explore how you might share and amplify our values of Energy, Empathy, and Audacity in the way you work, and how you interact with others.
