Senior Software Engineer, Commercial Growth Labs, CR

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – L3 (Costa Rica) 

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Commercial Growth Labs team, part of our Shared Services organization. You will work with our internal Labs product team, Internal IT Team, and our Line consultants to understand their business needs and strategies to deliver products that help our consultants sell and deliver more effectively and efficiently. These products will have Generative AI components.

Software Engineers in our Commercial Growth Labs team have these primary responsibilities: 

Functional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to design and develop software applications
• Use an Agile approach to iteratively deliver products
• You will work with several of our core technologies:
• Back-end: Node.js, Python
• Front-end: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, Vue.JS, HTML5, CSS3
• Database: SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Generative AI: Azure OpenAI, Databricks Machine Learning
• You will work with several of the following patterns & tools:
• Patterns: MVC, MVVM, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), REST, GraphQL
• Source Control: Git, Azure DevOps
• DevOps Tooling: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
• Package Management: NPM, Bower, Yarn, NuGet
• Testing: Jest

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years of experience in full stack software development
• You have good working knowledge on Object Oriented concepts.
• You have strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, collaborative, Agile/Scrum project environment.
• Excellent team, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• You’re smart, versatile, and passionate about delivering the highest caliber of code.
• Motivated to work with and learn a variety of technologies and languages.
• Excellent communication ability with team members and clients in English.
• Potential to travel internationally on an as needed basis.
