Senior Software Engineer- Dev Ops

Modivcare is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer who is an expert around the operationalization of applications in cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of applications for Modivcare. You will take assigned projects and work closely with peers across application development, information security, and engineering teams contributing to ensure the applications are secure, resilient, performant, scalable, and highly-available.

• Architect, design, debug, implement and maintain web-based business applications.
• Own the product and release cycles, developing and contributing to the process and tools.
• Work as part of a cross-functional Delivery Team, using Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Own development, release, and CI/CD tools.
• Build best-in-class solutions for logging, monitoring, alerting, and proactive management of core cloud infrastructure components.
• Enforce established standards and help define new standards as technology advances.
• Weigh-in, educate, and be the advocate for scalable and maintainable architectural decisions.
• Partner with organizational infrastructure and security teams to assure compliance.
• Partner across teams to reduce support, find efficiencies, increase performance, and educate on best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience with software development, preferably in Agile environment.
• Expert knowledge in software development tools, programming languages, databases, and environments, including but not limited to:
• Java/Groovy, AWS (CloudWatch; ECS; CloudFront; S3; EC2 including instances, load balancers, target groups, security groups; AmazonMQ, ElastiCache, Lambdas, and API Gateway), GitLab CI, Jenkins, Terraform or Ansible, Datadog, Relational (Oracle & MySQL) and Non-Relational (NOSQL & DynamoDB) databases.

Salary: $107,061 - $142,748
