Do you want to work on an engaging, helpful, and attractive eCommerce platform that is frequented by millions of visitors worldwide? Autodesk's eCommerce Engineering team is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building and delivering innovative solutions for prospects, customers, and partners into our eCommerce platform.

As part of the eCommerce Engineering team, you will be adding exciting new features for Autodesk's eCommerce platform that influence Autodesk's customer product buying experience. Our team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges to help customers buy the software and get the support they need. The team you'll be working is responsible for creating new tools and components, implementing critical services, creating new and engaging end-user experiences, and digging into low-level performance details and streamlining processes to help make Autodesk eCommerce be the easiest place to buy.

As an ideal candidate, you'll have both test automation and development experience. You will be guiding the team on the best practices of test automation. You have development experience and can work on development stories as and when needed. This is an individual contributor role but has a substantial level of influence and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Advocate on quality, test automation tools and its best practices.
• Develop test strategy and e2e use cases for each release.
• Work with developers and platform team to make sure we have good test automation coverage
• Coach other team members on writing stable, reliable UI tests for delivering a quality product
• Be involved in all aspects of development and Agile ceremonies.
• Able to understand and contribute to design discussions
• Design, develop, debug new features as and when needed.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to standards
• Document and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly
• Interest in learning new tools and technologies.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of test automation and development experience.
• Strong programming skills, able to write modular, testable, and maintainable code
• Front end or Backend development Experience using Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar framework
• Strong experience in building UI/ API test automation frameworks Cypress.io, Web Driver, RestAssured.
• Experience in writing unit/ API tests using Junit, TestNG and RestAssured
• Experience with CI/ CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with Microservices and Micro Frontends architecture.
• Experience with Agile software development practices
• Experience using Performance tests like Jmeter, BlazeMeter
• Experience working with AWS technologies
