Position Overview

Enterprise Identity Services has an opening for a Software Engineer to work cross-functionally with different Identity domain areas namely Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Cloud Directory (MS Azure AD) services to drive progress towards goals.

As an Identity Software Engineer, you will be point-person for designing and developing various Identity solutions for initiatives like Employee Experience and Security.

For example, this team is executing on a strategic initiatives to improve employee experience and enterprise security, with better access and improved functionality to our core back-office services. As part of this initiative, we are investing in development efforts specifically focused on maximizing the security benefits gained by cloud IAM platforms such as Microsoft Azure and SailPoint IdentityNow.

We are excited to grow our Cloud Directory Services expertise within our immediate team to digitize the company's Identity Systems, and processes. The team is looking for an experienced Azure / Azure AD engineer with some DevOps experience to contribute to this team's journey towards becoming a world-class engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer Identity solutions to successfully deliver on critical projects and initiatives using SailPoint Identity Management solutions and Microsoft Azure
  • Design, develop and deliver automated services based on Azure AD and Azure AD Single-SignOn (SSO) technologies
  • Leverage Azure APIs to simplify and digitize service consumption by end-users and engineers
  • Collaborate to define best practices and standards around Azure AD and service resilience
  • Help define the strategy for the management of the global Directory Services environments and IAM platforms
  • Evaluate requirements and design solutions based on cloud IAM platforms
  • Optimize and support our existing public cloud solutions and workloads (Azure and AWS)
  • Work with user experience designers and subject matter experts to design solutions with the end-user in mind

Minimum Qualifications

Skill Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of IT industry experience
  • Experience deciding when to use common software design and architectural patterns, including server-less design within public cloud (AWS/Azure)
  • 3+ years of experience focused on cloud environments (Azure/Azure AD or AWS)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and Azure AD services
  • Hands-on experience with automation in Microsoft Graph API
  • Able to write automations in Powershell
  • Knowledge of Azure Automation and Functions
  • Understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Identity and Access Management domain knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with Identity Management tools, preferably in SailPoint IAM products and LDAP is a plus
  • Years of experience in automating and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure technologies is a plus
  • Understanding of the Azure AD consent framework
  • Excellent knowledge of all AIM components of the Azure Cloud Platform, and technical architecture
  • Deep knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Security Token Services
  • Knowledge of various data interchange formats (XML, JSON)
  • Familiarity of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, SOC2, SOX, ISO
  • Familiarity of security frameworks/standards such as CIS, NIST, PCI

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $109,400 and $188,760. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
