We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Procore's Web Design Systems team. Your work will impact not just all of Procore’s users, but many internal teams as well. You will help define best practices for frontend development for the organization, and your work will help drive Procore’s product towards a consistent and empowering experience for our customers. You will collaborate with Principal and Staff Engineers and Product Managers, and be a force multiplier on your team. You will join a team that is leading innovation of the frontend at Procore.

This position reports to the Web Design Systems Software Engineering Manager and will be based in the Czech Republic. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Drive evolutionary change across Procore’s UI through the Core Design System
• Contribute to technical roadmap for the team, identifying areas that need improvement and participating in cross-team solutions
• Use data-driven decisions to build frontend platform features, enabling great developer experiences for our application teams and first or third-party developers
• Participate in designing and building systems that align with business outcomes
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Serve as a resource and mentor to more junior engineers within your team 

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience
• 5+ years experience in Object-Oriented Program fundamentals, Test Driven Development and System Design
• Experience with frontend web development skills such as accessibility, responsive design, or design systems
• Experience designing and building software that boosts developer productivity and efficiency
• Loves building solutions that provide great developer experience
• Strong experience documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutions
• Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
• Fluent in spoken and written English
