Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

About the Role

As a Senior Front-End Engineer at Entera, you’ll be a major contributor to our React/Redux front-end applications that service our core discovery platform. You’ll play an active role in mapping our product vision with modern software best practices and architecture. You’ll work tightly with product and the rest of our engineering organization to make sure that our front-end systems convert and that our customers have a great experience using our platform. You’ll integrate to our back-end infrastructure and write repeatable tests for everything you do. You’ll be joining a team of highly skilled and motivated back-end, front-end, and ML engineers helping to deliver on the Entera product roadmap. What You'll Do:

• Develop high-impact features in our customer-facing systems 
• Pair with back-end and ML engineers to integrate back-end features and models
• Improve our front-end toolkit by keeping our architecture modern and lean
• Use Enzyme, Mocha, and Chai to test your code
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews
• Partner with Product and Design to implement our product vision
• Contribute to the Entera architecture and provide leadership within your team
• Work in team sprints 

Who You Are: 

• Deep expertise in JavaScript
• 3-4+ years writing scalable React code within a team
• 3-4+ years experience in Engineering at product-driven tech companies
• Knowledge of modern front-end software architecture best practices
• Working knowledge of back-end systems and the integration of API’s in customer facing applications
• Agile development experience
