What we are building

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic UI Team, dedicated to creating exceptional user experiences across the entire Domino platform. Our team's mission involves four key goals: enabling feature development across Product Engineering pods, updating and enhancing the Domino UI, maintaining and upgrading UI frameworks, and setting best practices for UI development. As part of the team, your contributions will directly impact our platform's look, feel, and functionality.

What your impact will be

• Advance Domino’s standardization of frontend components using our new design system
• Gain deep expertise in at least two core Domino features, contributing to feature development and improvement
• Provide insights and expertise to optimize the efficiency of UI development across the engineering team
• Implement significant architectural changes to improve productivity for engineers working on the Domino frontend
• Develop a roadmap to enhance Domino's "look and feel," focusing on reducing maintenance overhead
• Mentor junior team members and assist with onboarding new team members when applicable

What we look for in this role

• 5+ years of frontend software engineering experience in enterprise products
• Proficiency in a modern frontend technical stack, with a strong preference for React (although Angular and Vue are also considered)
• Experience with frontend build tools and practices (such as Node, Vite, NPM, Yarn, Webpack).
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript testing tools (like Enzyme, Jest, etc.)
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications or components
• Familiarity with backend development, particularly building RESTful APIs, and experience with full-stack development is a plus
