What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Engineer working primarily in Go to join our Card Processing Team. The Card Processing team is responsible for our direct integration into the Card Networks for Card Issuing, processing high volumes of transactions. We are a 100% remote team, who work closely together. We are looking for a team member that enjoys mentoring teammates and working closely with users. This will be an extremely rewarding but demanding role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems
• Work with other engineers to build new features on a large scale.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Debug and support production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack

Qualifications:

• English - fluent written and verbal communication
• Proven 4+ years of work experience as a Go developer
• Strong knowledge of Micro-service architectures
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of REST and understanding of gRPC
• Comfortable with DevOps aspects
• Self-guided building and planning of production systems
• History of contributing to open-source projects
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Container experience - Docker - ECS/K8s/Nomad
• Ability to think creatively and work in a team

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00
