Senior Software Engineer - Golang

Remote: This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. Once we can safely travel, you may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

What you'll get to do...

The role is for a Software Engineer with experience in modern development practices. Experience with GoLang is expected.

Main tasks will be working directly with the Engineering and Platform teams to help plan, design, build, and maintain our development projects, including building out the REST APIs and CLIs.

Example tasks:

• Developing CLI features in our customer (developers) focused tooling
• Adding components to our data processing pipeline
• Sprint planning
• Helping team members evaluate new technologies
• Code review
• Coordinating release schedules/tasks with Support/Operations teams

Our current development stack uses Microservices written in PHP and GoLang implementing REST API's which run in Docker containers.  The primary clients are SPAs and CLI clients.

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years GoLang
• Unit Testing
• SQL
• Docker
