Senior Software Engineer, Google Kubernetes Engine

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
  
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with programming in Kotlin or Java.
  
• Experience with a microservice-based architecture, database-heavy or high-traffic applications.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for contributing to our team of Software Engineers,that deliver critical engineering components for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Enterprise.
• Design and develop high-scale, critical production systems.
• Work closely alongside Engineering Management, Program Management, and partner teams in GKE Enterprise to deliver customer impact.
• Support and develop junior and executive engineers on the team to help them further their skill set.
• Set priorities for the local team and take responsibility for their delivery.
