Senior Software Engineer, Grafana Business Applications (Remote, Americas, EST)

This is a remote position and we're considering candidates in the eastern time zones of Canada, and the US.

• The Business Applications team works together with our Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams to provide the best possible experience for our customers and the most efficient workflow for our staff. 
• We build on the grafana.com platform to provide custom solutions and integrate with the many external systems that make up a modern business environment.
• The team is responsible for critical domain areas that ensure the smooth functioning of not just our systems but also our business processes that they’re designed to solve. The team is comprised of multiple squads with each focussing on one or more domain areas.
• Squads are structured around Billing and Payments systems responsible for invoicing and billing the Grafana customers or around our integrations with Marketplaces like AWS, GCP or Azure to enable Grafana customers to subscribe to our services offered on our partner marketplaces AWS, Azure and Google Cloud

• Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives 
• Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of stakeholders
• Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope
• Design, build, operate, and maintain our critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and availability
• Be a part of your team’s on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you’re running
• Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team

• You have experience with Javascript/Typescript/NodeJS, React, Go, or similar technologies.

In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is $148,000 to $178,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here.
