Senior Software Engineer, Guest & Host

We currently have hiring for Senior Software Engineers, including: 

Listings Platform Team 

Core to Airbnb’s capability to host a wide range of listings while delivering world class accuracy and performance across all surfaces. Creating direct consumer tools for hosts to manage their listings, as well as building a robust framework to advance our understanding of each listing’s unique feature to advance our mission to find the perfect accommodation for your trip. The Listings Platform team is constantly at the forefront of the most mission critical initiatives in Airbnb, and directly contributes to the company’s success.

Your day-to-day responsibilities includes:

• Collaborate with the Listing Product team, our counterparts in Guest Store, Search and Infrastructure to design and deliver high-quality platforms.
• Develop a streamlined framework for east product development and iteration.
• Build efficient and reusable backend components, architect reliable, performance and scalable systems.
• Evaluate and prototype new technologies and techniques and can be added to our tech stack.
• Mentor and support other engineers in the team or in related teams.

• 6+ years industry experience
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
• Experience in building and scaling high-quality and high-traffic products (or systems).
• Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems.
• Ability to drive alignment, manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Mentorship to junior developers

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
