Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality HMI software solutions for automotive applications.• Work within an Agile development framework to deliver software increments in a timely and iterative manner.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective user interfaces and experiences.• Ensure that HMI designs align with user-centered design principles and UX best practices.• Collaborate with middleware development teams to integrate HMI software with underlying systems and hardware components.• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, code, and system architecture.

Skills

Must have

General:• Bachelor's or Master's Degree either in CS, EE, or EC Engineering• A clear understanding of the Agile methodology• Configuration Management Systems (CMS) like Jira and Confluence• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Software development:• Strong experience as a Software Developer focusing on HMI or UI/UX design in the automotive industry• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and user experience (UX) best practices• Experience with tools and frameworks used in HMI development• Experience with React Native• Experience Programming in C++• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts• Software Version Control experience (Git)• Strong experience working with Linux OS• Middleware software development

Nice to have

• Embedded Software development experience• Experience with Unity• Previous experience in the Automotive industry• Experience working with Automotive protocols (CAN)• Experience developing Mobile (Android) and Automotive (HMI, Infotainment) applications
