Senior Software Engineer I, Work (Frontend)

Job Description

Our Work frontend squad builds and maintains web applications for our Work product line. Our Work product is used by properties all over the United States for day-to-day maintenance and operations, improving both the quality of work done by maintenance staff and the quality of life of their residents.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update functionality for our Work application - using primarily Ember.js with a few other technologies mixed in.
• Engage internal teams (CS, Engineering, QA, Product, Marketing, HR, etc.) and external parties for help in implementing features.
• Identify opportunities to improve the user experience for the platforms, increase efficiency, and informational flow.
• Mentor other engineers and continuously improve software engineering practices.
• Compile reports and metrics on the effectiveness of development projects.

Required Qualifications

• Thrives in a rapidly changing environment
• 6+ years professional experience in common web technologies and web development languages JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 6+ years professional experience in building large, complex single page applications in at least one modern JavaScript framework such as Ember (preferred), React, Angular, Vue, etc.
