Role Overview

As a software engineer on the media tools and automation team, you will build tools and systems that automate the live and VOD streaming workflow, content validation, and quality measurement.

What You Will Do

• Automate the live and VOD streaming and content validation workflows.
• Build tools and systems for media understanding, video, and audio quality measurement.
• Work cross-functionally with content management, transcoding, content delivery, and player teams and provide tools for productivity.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development in a cloud environment.
• Experience in developing tools and automation frameworks.
• Proficient with modern cloud computing, such as AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go).

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of AWS media technology, such as AWS Media Elemental.
• Understanding of Media Codecs such as AVC, HEVC, or AV1.
• Experience with Machine Learning libraries for video understanding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
