Senior Software Engineer in Test

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our Platform team. In this role you’ll collaborate with our software teams to help improve our test automation. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a high-performing team and to pursue a life-changing mission.  

This position can be fully remote for US and Canada-based applicants.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain compliance with legal regulations, policies and procedures relating to compliance, and best practices in Engineering 
• Improve product quality while accelerating release cycles 
• Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to identify testing strategies on existing and new features 
• Collaborate with product owners to understand product requirements and create test scenarios 
• Identify solutions for testing the Paige platform end-to-end 
• Improve Paige’s test automation by creating test automation frameworks and tools to be used by the department 
• Improve and maintain Paige’s test environment to reduce risk for products promoting to production 
• Work within a cross-disciplinary agile team 
• Coach software engineers and product owners to provide guidance on best practices for code quality and software testing (e.g., promoting testing in earlier phases of software development cycle) 

About You 

• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience as a Software Engineer in Test 
• Experience working in Agile Software Development teams and have a good understanding of Software Quality Assurance Principles and test automation best practices 
• Experience with Selenium, BrowserStack, Pytest, Jest, Postman, Cypress 
• Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages 
• Experience with API testing, performance, and load testing 
• Experience with Continuous integration systems (e.g., Gitlab, Teamcity, Jenkins) 
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development 
• Experience with containers (e.g., Docker, ContainerD) 
• Experience with public cloud providers (e.g., AWS or Azure) 
• You enjoy working on cross-disciplinary and agile teams 
• Experience with testing and validating computer vision algorithms is a plus
• You hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience
