Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

The Core Infrastructure team is expanding and we are looking for devops and infrastructure engineers to join and help build the next generation of infrastructure for Flexport!

• Build and maintain a fleet of AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) clusters across production and development environments.
• Support our developers running applications on Kubernetes by utilizing Cloud Native technologies.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code patterns for infrastructure deployments and management.
• Utilize security best practices for all designed infrastructure.
• Deliver cloud infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with containers and the AWS ecosystem, including the benefits and challenges.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code based solutions such as Terraform.
• Demonstrable skills in at least one programming language.
