Senior Software Engineer (Java)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the renewable energy industry.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail. 

What you will do:

- Key contributor to the team in the design, implementation and delivery of high-quality software.

- Creating IaC using CloudFormation and AWS Cloud Development Kit.

- Contribute to the team's growth by mentoring more junior team members and sharing your expertise.

- Advocate and contribute to establishing an Agile and DevOps culture in the team.

What you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and experience.

- Knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java and Spring Boot.

- Knowledge of how to build an application using Gradle.

- Advanced skills in OOP and software design patterns and best practices.

- Solid experience in Microservice Architecture and Event Driven.

- Architecture Experience with AWS (SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, Cloudwatch Events, Lambda, DynamoDB, DynamoDB Streams, Kinesis, Secret Manager, and many more)Experience with Jenkin.

- Solid experience in culture, practices and tools related to Agile and DevOps.

- Fluent written and verbal communication in English.

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of Docker containers.

- Experience with Azure.

- Experience with Nexus repository.

- Experience with Monolith to Microservices migrations, knowledge of migration patterns.
