Senior Software Engineer (Java)

What you'll do as a Backend Engineer:

• Develop and maintain the Java back-end services that make up Zipcar's member billing system
• Work closely with product managers and other engineers to create scalable and reliable services
• Use modern tooling for rapid development, integrated testing, and high performance
• Strive for continuous improvement of the Zipcar member experience

What drives success for this role:

• Approximately 1-3 years of experience working with Java.
• Experience in with web services
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, SDLC, and testing best practices in an Agile environment.
• Experience with billing or financial systems a plus
• Required: BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
