Senior Software Engineer (Java Full-Stack)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java Full-Stack) to join our team. The successful candidate will work with our client based in Singapore.
The ideal candidate is anexpert in using Java full-stack, and he/she works closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of high-quality applications, and will communicate effectively with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of global components and solutions, design and integrate them in various stages of software development life cycle
• Coordinate your work with other developers to deliver first-class technology solutions
• Work closely with other Product and Technology teams, internal and external, to bring technology solutions and perspectives to the product development process
• Provide input on, follow and evangelize code quality guidelines and standards
• Participate in code reviews to highlight best-of-breed solutions
• Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues, and review and provide feedback to any required final user documentation

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in software engineering
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proficiency in Java programming language for both backend and front-end development is essential
• Ability to adopt and integrate evolving technologies and frameworks to contribute effectively to the development of Retail Banking solutions
• Strong collaboration skills with team members, and the capacity to engage effectively with third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery
• A demonstrated enthusiasm for embracing new tasks and overcoming challenges
• A proactive approach and commitment to embracing a culture of continuous learning, along with the ability to adapt rapidly to new tools, languages, and methodologies
• Flexibility to actively participate in the creation of solutions from scratch, utilizing input from analysts and product owners
• Ability to undertake research and development activities to explore innovative solutions and technologies
