Senior Software Engineer - Framework

This role sits at the core of a platform engineering organization focused on building scalable, reusable foundations that power complex digital products at scale. You will design and evolve framework-level components that improve consistency, performance, and configurability across the entire platform. The work spans both backend and frontend systems, with a strong emphasis on APIs, shared libraries, and developer tooling. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and design teams to solve deep architectural challenges. This is a highly impactful position where your contributions directly shape engineering velocity and product quality across multiple teams. • Design and evolve core platform frameworks that enable scalable and consistent product development across multiple engineering teams.
• Build and enhance APIs, shared libraries, and backend services with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop frontend and backend components that support configurability, customization, and seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Improve system architecture, identify performance bottlenecks, and drive enhancements across the platform stack.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, provide architectural feedback, and influence engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and help strengthen team-wide engineering standards and development practices.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack or backend-focused software engineering roles within scalable production environments.
• Strong experience designing and building APIs, distributed systems, and relational database schemas with performance considerations.
• Proficiency with modern web technologies, ideally including React and backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or similar.
• Solid understanding of system scalability, software architecture, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working in agile environments and contributing to iterative product development cycles.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed engineering teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and long-term platform evolution.
