Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning

Reddit, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning in New York, NY.

Job Duties: Build end-to-end machine learning products for Ads Targeting such as User Lookalike Models, Keyword Targeting, User Interest Matching. Design metrics and mechanisms to understand and evaluate the performance of various Targeting products. Be involved in all phases of ML development such as ideation, offline modelling, online implementation, experimentation, deploy and post-launch monitoring/measurements. Collect and maintain quality of underlying data (experiment design and analysis, data deep dive), along with working on ETLs and data aggregations needed for training, testing and productionizing models. Serve as a thought-partner for product managers, engineers, leadership in shaping the monetization roadmap and strategy for Reddit by identifying opportunities through deep-dive analyses and/or modelling. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Reddit offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.  

Special Skill Requirements: (1) ML Modelling; (2) Infrastructure Design; (3) ANN; (4) FAISS; (5) Vertex AI; (6) Big Query; (7) GCS; (8) NumPy; (9) Kubeflow; (10) Intelli.J; (11) PyTorch; and (12) Airflow.  Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Reddit offices may be required.

The base pay range for this position is: $229,702.00  - $303,400.00 USD per annum
