We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on backend development and experience in building large-scale data serving platforms. The Team:
You'll join the Prism Data Access Team, which is at the heart of Enverus' flagship application for Energy Analytics. Prism focuses on data capture, aggregation, and display, and includes capabilities for data modeling and analysis using a variety of data sources. Built on web-based technology with rich functionality and graphics, Prism is integral to our operations. We are looking for someone to help us create a new data backend for this flagship product.
What You'll Do:

• Backend development and maintenance of our data platform services built with Node.JS, document-based and GPU accelerated databases, and Kubernetes
• Create and maintain microservices backed by document-based databases and GPU accelerated databases
• Contribute to scoping, estimating, and planning projects
• Debug, investigate and resolve bugs / customer issues and data problems.
• Focus on performance and scaling of our data infrastructure
• Write, review and revise code in your area of expertise.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the product functionality you work on.
• Collaborate with remote teams based in the US.

What You Should Have:

• Solid experience in software development, particularly in building web applications.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages, preferably JavaScript and Node.js.
• Understanding fundamental of design principles for building secure and scalable applications.
• Experience in creating and maintaining SaaS software application.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments.
• Great understanding of data structure and algorithms.
• A passion for building large-scale data serving solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
