Senior Software Engineer - Platform

About the role:

As a Full Stack Sr. Software Engineer (.NET, C#,Angular tech stack) you will focus on developing and enhancing web applications, while working with some of the latest technologies in user interfaces, server architecture, and cloud-based computing. Our relaxed remote work environment promotes paired programming, cross-team collaboration, efficient communication, Scrum methodologies, and TDD principles. This role specifically will work on enhancing Blackbaud's Identity and Access management solution.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and develop software applications, project prototypes, proofs of concept
• Evaluate and improve security and performance of critical application components
• Assist in driving the development effort on-time delivery of high-quality solutions that satisfies feature requirements
• Work closely with product management, and other team members to coordinate implementation and provide progress updates at daily standup meetings
• Perform, design and code reviews for all key application functional components

What we'll want you to have:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or possess equivalent work experience
• 3+ with common web technologies required - Javascript, CSS, and HTML
• 3+ with C#, Java, or other Object-Oriented language
• Familiarity with building software applications in the cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) a plus
• Experience working with REST APIs or ideally asynchronous messaging technologies (e.g. Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, or Apache Kafka)
• Experience with design and implementation of object structures in relational databases

The starting base pay is $101,900.00 to $132,800.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
