This individual in this role is responsible for developing new and exciting products for KnowBe4’s customers, alongside other engineers in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develops software using the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies
- Recommends solutions to engineering problems
- Assist other team members by providing technical direction
- Defines approaches and solutions to complex technical problems
- Helps to translate KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans
- Provides coordination across functional boundaries
- May act as team lead for sub-projects
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent plus 8 years experience
- MS or equivalent plus 3 years experience
- Ph.D. or equivalent plus 2 years experience
- Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies in a short time.
- Ability to design and implement serverless platforms in an agile environment.
- Contribute or lead platform design, architecture, and development projects.
- Develop and maintain highly-available services in mission critical integrations.
- Write and maintain high-quality, modular, and well tested code.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code patterns and best practices.
- 3+ years implementing and maintaining Rust, GO, C++ at an enterprise level platform.
The base pay for this position ranges from $125,000-$160,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
