Senior Software Engineer (Product)

You will be one of the early members of the team, and will have a large influence on our product and engineering culture.

• Build features from end-to-end, and become an owner of many parts of the system.
• Contribute broadly to architecture, system design, and product building.
• Work full-stack, primarily with React (Nextjs), Python (FastAPI), and Postgres (RDS).
• Build things like some of these recent projects:
  • A TipTap powered rich syllabus builder with hooks into our chat community
  • A data warehouse using dbt and Snowflake, powering user attribution and more
  • Embeddings-based personalized course recommendations

• 3+ years of experience shipping production features with React and a backend API
• Comfort dealing with a broad range of web development concerns, e.g. caching, CDNs, CI/CD, security, etc.
• A strong desire to build something incredible.

We’re a small team of 5 engineers and 15 total. So far we’ve looked for teammates who:

We're a fully remote company with employees across the US and Canada. Anyone within 1 hour of US time zones is welcome. 

Salary Range: $150-200k
