Senior Software Engineer - Python/AWS/Java

The Role 

The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with Research to implement industry-leading bond pricing algorithms, pre- and post-trade analytics, and other data-intensive applications. This will include leveraging our extensive global proprietary assets and sophisticated machine-learning techniques and technologies.

How You'll Help Take Us There

• Design, implement, and maintain core architectures for highly complex Research product ecosystems which are leveraged across all aspects of our electronic trading and related systems 
• Implement solutions to deliver data via REST APIs, Streaming APIs, and performant storage solutions 
• Design and manage custom cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines 
• Support innovation through the creative and aggressive experimentation of cutting-edge hardware, software, processes, procedures, and methods 
• Work closely with all scrum teams within the data group to collaborate on new product ideas and designs 

What We're Looking for 

• 6+ years of experience with Java back-end development and Spring Boot framework
  
• 3+ years of experience in Python and data science Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
• 3+ years of experience in core AWS services, preferably Elastic Container Service (ECS), Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), API Gateway, Athena, Aurora, and Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK)
• Experience with Docker for containerization
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
• Keen to learn and open to collaboration
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or similar
• Strong written, verbal, and team communications skills

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $225,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity and other benefit programs.
