Our electricity transmission business needs a modern solution offering flexibility across jurisdictions while implementing best practices. Our colleagues who work in the field have traditionally relied on a series of manual, paper-based processes involving non-integrated systems to complete their work. You will be part of our team that will fix that! We have a transformative digital product which enables our colleagues to pick up and complete jobs in real time from their devices!

What you'll do

• You will guides the team (or self) through completion of components/projects, expanding scope as necessary
• You'll executes on large projects for the team and breaks work down for themselves and others. Able to integrate their work within and outside of the team, identifying edge cases and exception states
• You will be seen as an expert in our key technology frameworks used on their team
• You're recognized as an expert in the front end or back end language of the team, able to conceptually grasp 'the other end' that they don't work with directly - expanding the scope of the solution space

What you'll need

• You will have 4+ years of experience in engineering
• You need to have experience with the following back end tech stack: node.js
• If you have Azure, AWS, or any other cloud services, that's a huge plus!
• You can and enjoy Independently determines / develops approach to solutions as well as explaining complex information clearly to leaders and/or peers

Salary

$120,000 - $169,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
