Position: Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a smart, talented, and self-motivated developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience developing software; a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (e.g. algorithms and data structures); can get up to speed quickly on and contribute to new software development projects; and enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems in a team-oriented environment.

In this role, the software development professional will support client projects by:

• Contributing to development of enterprise software applications
• Analyzing business requirement and proposing technical solutions
• Creating rapid prototypes to mock-up various proposed solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a software developer, shipping code to production on high-impact projects
• Software development experience using frameworks such as Spring Boot or Rails and languages such as Java, .NET, Kotlin, Groovy, Ruby or related languages
• Knowledge of frontend languages and libraries (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• Knowledge of backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, C#)
• Familiarity with databases and experience with SQL
• Must be able to get up-to-speed quickly on new projects and technologies
• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies
• Experience developing microservices
