Your role in helping us shape the future:
Intelsat is on a mission to transform our OSS tool suite using best-in-class platforms (ServiceNow, Netcool, and SevOne). You will be a key member of the Platform Systems team working to develop and support our inventory, case, and other service assurance tooling capabilities.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support our ServiceNow platform purpose-built for our operations support systems (OSS) needs. You will be a hands-on developer and administrator working to support, harmonize, and extend our ServiceNow capabilities.
Are you up to the challenge?

• Support - Respond to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop - Develop solutions to business problems in accordance with SDLC best practices.
• Heads up execution - Provide accurate work estimates, meet deadlines, and understand project methodology.

You should definitely have:

• Strong oral and written communication skills (English)
• 5+ years Intelsat or satellite/telco industry experience is essential
• 4+ years of development/scripting experience
• Strong customer service/issue resolution skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years development experience with ServiceNow
• An outgoing open can-do attitude

It would be nice if you had:

• Familiarity with complex application integrations
• Experience in Agile development methodologies
• JavaScript experience a plus
