Description:

Elecrification Solutions Test Engineering is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to perform model (HiL) based development, test automation, and test bench support activities, in the Engineering Test Environment (TE ENV) department.

Details:

This is a 6 month contract position with the potenital to turn into a long term position.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the SW development teams to define specification and setup of laboratory test benches and customized development system
• Ensure the correct functionality of highly specialized tools for calibration, simulation, emulation, communication and code-debugging used for embedded SW development
• Setup and maintain Hardware in the Loop systems
• Integrate model based development in projects
• Implement Harness updates based on system requirements
• Coordinate and support launching of new engineering tools
• Support the operation of SW laboratory
• Develop scripts, customize tools based on the direction of the lead engineer
• Provide input, attend customer support meetings
• Assist in new project quotations

Job Requirements:

• Engineering degree in electronics, computer eningeering, or similar
• Excellent background in electronics, electrical diagrams and timing diagrams analysis
• Basic knowledge in embedded systems design and programming
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols
• Experience in laboratory measurement equipment

Optional Experience:

• Embedded SW development for automotive applications
• HW/SW technical support
• High Level Programming : Java, C, Python, or similar
