About this role:

The Time and Labor Management (TLM) team at Asure builds and maintains systems that allow our clients to track their time and attendance. Our customers range from small businesses to large ones with many locations and employees, so TLM has a wide variety of services to help our users manage their time and attendance from facial recognition and biometrics scanning to web and mobile entry. Where you start development with this team will largely be based on what your experience is and what technologies you are passionate about. TLM has a mixture of modern and legacy applications, services, and databases hosted in AWS as well as development on Linux based hardware for onsite time entry (such as clocks or image capture for facial recognition) and native mobile apps.

How you will contribute to this role

• Write testable, readable, and efficient code
• Maintenance development on existing application and integration code base
• Collaborate with your team on best practices, effective code reviewing and continual process improvements

Your Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with at least one programming language
• Commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies/ best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience with one or more of the programming languages, frameworks, infrastructure as code, or databases we use is helpful, but not required
