We are seeking a Senior Front End Engineer (UI) to join our team for this hybrid opportunity working out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
Do you enjoy working with the highly dynamic front-end frameworks ? Are you a dept at both strategic and tactical efforts? This opportunity may be for you . We need a highly motivated individual who can create and help implement a cross-product UI strategy . We need someone who is comfortable serv ing as a consulting expert for engineering teams across the company . In this role, you will work with a team of senior engineers across our on-prem products and our hybrid enterprise cloud platform . You will assist in UI development activities across Imprivata's product portfolio to provide the best-in-class customer and user experience. You will continue to make hand s on contributions and evolve our user interfaces. We are looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of tough technical problems and who wants to work on products helping over 1 million users every day in saving time, reducing frustration, and providing better patient care. We need someone with a passion for building world-class applications and desire to make an impact on our organization and on real world problems.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Researching and evangelizing front-end best practices to help deliver fast and successful clinical experiences to our customers.
• Performing full lifecycle activities: architecture, design, technology evaluation and most importantly coding.
• Offering vision and strategies regarding front end development and best practices
• Providing guidance and hands-on help to different application teams in the UI area
• Owning and driving use of common UI components for Imprivata's products
• Mentoring junior engineers

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of professional software development experience
• Expertise working with: React & TypeScript
• Experience with Axios
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Less, Ant Design, and other libraries for developing intuitive User Interfaces
• Great understanding of UI design principles and best practices, including implementation of component libraries
• Well versed in responsive design and up to date with web technologies
• Experience solving cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Excellent problem solving, teamwork and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of cloud-deployed SaaS architectures and best UI practices
• Programming and working with APIs and Restful Web Services
• Expertise in developing Web APIs
• Familiarity with Relay framework
• Prior Healthcare experience (or strong motivation to work within the field)

This position offers a salary range of $114,800.00 to $146,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here . This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
