Qualifications
- At least 4-6 years of UX/UI design experience
- Strong portfolio of completed design projects
- Familiarity in top design concept and prototyping tools (Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, FIGMA, Zeplin, etc.)
- Bachelor degree in Design, Visual Arts, Human Computer Interactions, or a relevant field
- Experience with facilitating discussions about visually representing complex data and analytic idea
- Strong communication skills in discussing and communicating design concepts with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Understands how developers think and build compelling experiences for the developer community
- Has a test-and-learn mentality and an agile way of working to improve your team's products
Responsibilities
Walmart Global Tech's Site Reliability Engineering team help's drive reliability, scalability, automation, and other issues related to uptime and availability of Walmart's e-commerce, stores, and omni-channel platform. Our goal is to build, scale and guard the systems that delight the customers. The Site Reliability team drives the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle processes for delivering scalable solutions to business and developer community of the Global Technology Organization
- Be the evangelist for UX best practices and ensure that standards, process documents and style guides are updated and communicated to the larger team.
- Define practical user experiences, including storytelling, personas, process flows and interactions. Interpret and review research findings to be communicated out to all stakeholders
- Create prototypes and wireframes to explore design solutions, support optimization and usability testing.
- Creating the user experience designs (including user interface design comps, visual design specs, prototypes, wireframes) for our next generation Reports and Dashboards for Operational Excellence
- Own the execution of the user experience design for tools that will serve the needs of the developer community in managing the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment
- Work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to ensure on time delivery with quality results
- Execute User Experience strategy and innovation by evaluating the current competitive landscape for compelling experiences for developer communities; and presenting information within and across the organization to gain strategic alignment and encourage change
Provides support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies); identifying short- and long-term solutions; facilitating resolutions; and leading cross-functional partnership.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
