About the team:
We're excited to have talented Web engineers join our team to build an incredible experience for our Robinhhood's customers!
Web engineers work closely with cross-functional teams like design, product management, and internal platforms to deliver high-impact features within multidisciplinary product teams. They are also owners of the web experience and illuminate what can be possible on the web platform.
We're looking for passionate and skilled engineers who lead by example, building up the product and people around them through hard work, mentorship, and proven best practices.
What you'll do day-to-day:

• Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
• Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team
• Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company
• Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products
• Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers
• Lead the community of web engineers at Robinhood

About you:

• 5+ years of professional Software Development experience
• 4+ years of professional experience with modern Web technologies and frameworks
• You're skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments
• You have an incredible design intuition coupled with an obsession for the customer and their experience
• You have a track record of successfully leading teams and delivering large scope technical projects, setting a high standard for code quality and code review processes
• You deeply understand the design, product, and backend engineering disciplines so that you can work effectively with them.

CO Residents: In Colorado, the base pay for this position ranges from $146000 to $194000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood's equity plan.
