You will...

We are looking for a developer with strong object-oriented coding skills, excellent attention to detail, and a real passion for language learning. As a developer on this team, you will:

• Collaborate on full-stack software projects in partnership with product managers and designers
• Develop, test, release, and maintain frontend/backend services and infrastructure.
• Lead individual project priorities, setting milestones and deliverables
• Deliver performant, testable, scalable, and highly-readable code using OO best practices
• Help mentor other engineers through collaboration, discussions, and reviews

You have...

• 5+ years of software development experience
• You are knowledgeable and have experience with an object-oriented language
• You thrive in a fast, agile, and multi-functional team environment
• You demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• You care deeply about a great end user experience
• You are dedicated to our mission of accessible education
• You have a B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• You have worked with distributed systems, including microservices, databases, caching, and cloud services
• Experience in Typescript, React, and other web stack technologies is a plus
