Builds scalable and robust data solutions for websites using Azure and Azure Functions. Designs and implements single and multi-tenant data solutions. Builds, maintains, and tunes stored procedures using Snowflake and Azure SQL Database. Creates and manages data structures to assist in data analysis using Python. Develops, innovates, and advocates for how software and data is used to improve delivery. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing multi-tenant data solutions for websites, data warehouses, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing multi-tenant data solutions for websites, data warehouses, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") designing and developing multi-tenant data solutions for websites, data warehouses, and APIs using MySQL, PostgreSQL, Python, data modelling, and database design.
• DE writing SQL scripts to perform data modeling and development using Database development tools including MySQL Workbench and DataGrip; coordinating database operations and data storage and retrieval using SQL, stored procedures, and triggers on MySQL; and completing performance tuning SQL queries and views.
• DE designing, developing, and deploying batch data processing pipelines and dynamic feature generated platforms using Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, Python, and MySQL; building and deploying batch processing infrastructure on Cloud using REST APIs; and performing the complete setup of Integration and Deployment using GitHub.
• DE performing data architecture designing and implementation using diagram and documentation software Atlassian Confluence and draw.io; designing and performing data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) in migration frameworks; performing data and batch integration across various Cloud platforms -- AWS, Azure; and performing metadata management, design, development, implementation, and management of batch processing pipelines using AWS Cloud, Python, and Shell scripting.
