Senior Software Engineering Manager, UI

About the role

You will be a hands-on person, leading a team of top talent engineers in the design, development, test, and deployment of Spotnana web and mobile apps. A successful candidate will have an established background of building web-based and mobile enabled apps, with extensive technical knowledge of development techniques in React and React native as needed. You are a leader with progressive technical experience, a demonstrated progression of management scope, and a passion for managing engineering talent in a fast-paced environment. You stay current with your technical skills, and possess exceptional project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be both highly technical, hands-on and an effective people manager
• Lead complex technical product apps efforts across many engineers
• Provide guidance, architect, implement Spotnana complex web and mobile apps
• Drive customer-centric engineering, technical and execution excellence
• Collaborate with customers, product designers, product managers
• Champions frameworks for performance, scalability issues, devtest for code-coverage
• Hire and support software engineers; help them grow with feedback, opportunities
• Drive roadmap creation and execution

Qualifications

• B.Tech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
• 4+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
• 8+yrs of experience in javascript, and frameworks such as React, React Native, AngularJS, or equivalent including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures
• 4+ years of experience architecting all or significant part of rich web or mobile applications
