Senior Software Manager, Salesforce

Role Description

The Senior Software Manager, Salesforce role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce engineer who is looking for a rewarding opportunity. The Senior Software Manager, Salesforce will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers in the development and delivery of software and systems that are key to Fiber's growth, success, and customer satisfaction. The Senior Software Manager must have a deep understanding of Salesforce engineering and be able to work across all layers of a web software stack (front end, back end, APIs, database, and/or data pipeline). The Senior Software Manager  must also be able to execute with high quality in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

In this role, you'll:

• Leading and managing a team of engineers
• Designing, developing, and testing software and systems
• Working with stakeholders, analysts, other engineers, and engineering teams to define and deliver software and systems requirements
• Troubleshooting, optimizing and resolving software and systems issues
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in Salesforce engineering including CPQ, OrderManagement & Billing
• Hands-on experience in  all layers of a web software stack (front end, back end, APIs, database, and/or data pipeline)
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting experience
• Communication and interpersonal experience

It's preferred if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in vlocity , practical working experience in Zuora is a plus
• Team management and vendor management experience
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• Ability to work in an agile and sometimes ambiguous environment

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $209,000 - $230,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
