Senior Software QA Automation Engineer

Mission 

Your main mission will be to contribute within the SaaS QIMAone team. QIMAone is a quality and compliance management platform designed to optimize control processes. It enables real-time collaboration with supply chain stakeholders, offering full transparency and actionable data to improve product quality and reduce operational inefficiencies.

• Design and implement automated test cases to ensure the quality of QIMAone’s platform features.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Management, Development, and UX/UI Design teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Write scripts to automate manual test cases and ensure stable and maintainable test environments.
• Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and provide quick and accurate solutions.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including development cycles, demos, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Propose and implement improvements to test processes and assist in the setup of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Maintain and update automated test frameworks and suites.
• Work proactively to identify test gaps and improve code coverage.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in QA Automation.

Education: Preferably a master degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (proficiency in JavaScript is required, and experience with Python, Java, and SQL is a plus).
• Strong understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks (proficiency in Cypress is required, and experience with Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG and similar tools is a plus).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

Work Methodologies:

• Able to work in an Agile environment with development cycles, demos, retrospectives, code reviews, and backlog grooming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to deliver high-quality work.

Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
