As a QA Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for delivering high quality A10 Networks software products. Through the application of systematic test tools and processes you will help deliver reliable, innovative DDOS security products. You will be part of a team that develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, analyzes and writes test standards and procedures, maintains documentation of results, automates test cases and works closely with development engineers in resolution of problems. This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results.

Essential Functions

As part of a team, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding test requirements and formulation of test cases
• Developing, implementing, and executing test plans
• Contributing to test automation
• Participate in technical discussions
• Work closely with Development team to resolve/reproduce bugs
• Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals

Job Requirements

• Background in QA including test planning, process, and QA methodology
• Experience in software test planning, documentation, and process improvement
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Networking, L2/L3 and higher layer protocol testing
• Familiar with different Linux based tools and traffic generation tools like IXIA, Spirent
• Good to have programming experience in Python/Perl
• Experience with Agile development, continuous integration and automated testing
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills

Education

• BS or MS CS/CE or equivalent
