Position Summary

The candidate will fill the role of a software QA test engineer and participate in a feature Scrum team. Will help evolve the agile process and ensure the software's consistency, robustness and adherence to specifications. Will work closely with software developers, architects, and other QA test engineers to deliver high quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Will work in a SAFe development environment
  • Will manage daily activities that ensure quality and timely product delivery
  • Will write clear, concise technical specifications and documentation
  • Will design new or improve existing test engineering processes
  • Will develop, maintain and use tools and utilities in functional, system, scalability, performance, load and ad-hoc test scenarios

Requirements

  • 6+ years' QA test engineering experience
  • Experienced using HPQC.
  • Experience with SAFe and how QA fits in a SCRUM environment.
  • Experience with performance testing, concepts and automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in writing Chef scripts.
  • Experience with Java and Selenium
  • Mastery at analyzing and solving complex problems from multiple information sources
  • Experienced with RCA analysis, processes and reports.
  • Experience with functional test automation and testing techniques, models and processes
  • Great communication and teaming skills - must demonstrate courage to speak up when there is an issue
  • Must have a passion for quality delivery and be able to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to estimate test efforts and activities
  • Ability to analyze and communicate test results and tasks
  • Working knowledge of product requirements and design processes
  • Must have strong personal accountability and ownership

Preferred

  • Background in Hardware Testing
  • Background in Financial Services industry
